My work has always been interested in objects, the objects we collect and the objects we keep. Working as an educator with museum collections I am fascinated by the multiple stories objects have to tell. The Memory Bank is an opportunity to combine these two sides of my practice.

 

My hope is that this archive of collected memories is a growing database that will feed back into my practice as well as into the work I do with museum collections. In time my hope is that this archive will be a tool for other people to search and explore for their own projects.

 

The memories start with an object as a catalyst but where people journey with their recollections is up to them.
